UNL LogoNebraska's Wine and Grape Growing Industry

This site is devoted to Nebraska's developing Winery and Grape Growing industry.  This site will attempt to provide links which will help foster growth in Wineries and Grape growing in Nebraska.  If you are contemplating growing grapes for a Nebraska winery, be sure to make the required contacts WITH the winery and secure some form of commitement before planting any grapes.  Nebraska currently has 15 bonded wineries which can be found on the link below.  Other new wineries are also getting started, with new ones added almost annually.  Be sure to attend the Nebraska Wine and Grape Growers Association annual meeting held in Kearney usually late Feb. or early March.  This two-day conference is a must if you plan to grow grapes commercially and features concurrent workshops for the beginning and advanced grape grower as well as for wine makers.  Details are found in the Vinelines newsletter.
